Old Adelaide Restoration Centre
As featured in the photos above, Gary Lancaster of Lancaster Painters Australia ran Porters Paints master classes for applying Porters Paints finishes in the old building of the Old Adelaide Restoration Centre. He hand painted the decorative floor rug on the concrete floor of the Porters Paints shop, and a 3D trompe loeil mural at the end of the hallway (see more photos in this portfolio). Gary also hand painted various Porters Paints finishes in the Porters Paints shop and also the floral art as pictured above. As a professional wallpaper hanger, he applied the wallpaper in the photos above and below.

Featured above are photos of Gary preparing for a Porters Paints master class and the repaint work he completed of the ceilings, walls and woodwork in the front and back rooms. He also applied an antiquing effect and 22 karat gold leaf to the ceiling roses in the front room. Gary professionally installed panels of wallpaper above the cabinet as pictured above and hand painted all the finishes featured in our display in the Old Adelaide Restoration Centre (see photos above and below). They included a hand painted faux (fake) marble finish to the column and 22 karat gold leaf applied to the capital; a hand painted ceiling rose; faux (fake) wood graining panels; a faux (fake) marble effect to the fireplace surround and various pieces of art for sale.
Featured above are more of our displays in the Old Adelaide Restoration Centre. They feature a hand painted sconce and column to look like real marble with 22 karat gold leaf applied to the capital; gilded mirror frames and a hand painted statue. Featured to the right are our hand painted 3D trompe loeil mural at the end of the hallway, stone blocking and the framed fine art of a billabong scene painted by Gary Lancaster.

Gary Lancaster hand painted a decorative rug on the concrete floor in the entrance of the Porters Paints shop in the Old Adelaide Restoration Centre. It is featured within its surroundings in the slider at the top of this page.
